Discover the Healing Power of Massage

The Massage Factory Policies

Where are you located?

We are located in an office park off W. College Ave, about 5 minutes west of Fox River Mall. Click here for map and directions.

Being in an office building, what is the atmosphere like?

Our office was built in June 2006 to our specifications. The interior includes Venetian plaster in soothing colors and black ceilings. Our massage rooms have built in CD players. Our massage tables are heated. We use only the finest massage oils, and lotions and we use clean burning soy candles(also available for sale). We have contemporary décor that is appealing to both men and women. In addition, being in an office building helps to reduce noise level. No place is 100% soundproof, but our rooms are more quiet than rooms in hair and tanning salons (and no smells from chemicals, either!)

What are your hours?

We are open by appointment only, and hours available for appointments are Monday through Friday 10 am to 7 pm and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.

What are your rates and what types of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, checks (no third party checks, please!) and all types of credit cards. Due to increased processing fees, your payment with a check or cash, rather than a credit or a debit card is greatly appreciated. Tipping is left to the discretion of the client. Gift certificates normally do not include gratuities, unless otherwise noted.

How do I make an appointment?

With Inna, call at (920) 450-2142. We do not have a receptionist and if you get voice mail, please leave us a message – we’ll get back to you quicker than you think! Please leave your name, phone number and desired day and time for your appointment. If you have a gift certificate, please include its number or issue date. Remember – if you don’t leave a message, we can’t call you back! 🙂 All phone calls are returned promptly.

To book an appointment with another independent therapist, please contact her directly.

How far in advance should I book my appointment?

It depends on day and time you are interested in and how flexible you are. Some days and times are more popular than others. For example, 5 pm during weekdays, Friday evenings and Saturdays. If you want to make an appointment for a certain day and time, please give us as much notice as possible. Same day appointments may be available, but cannot be guaranteed.

Sometimes people ask us if we can “squeeze” them in. As much as we would love to make our clients happy, it may not be a good idea. Massage therapy is hard physical work and we can do only so many massages in a day before the quality of our work will suffer and your therapy will not be as effective.

If we don’t have any available openings, we can take your name and number and give you a call if we have a cancellation.

What are our late and cancellation policies?

Everyone’s time is valuable, that’s why we have to follow a few simple rules.

We usually book our appointments 1/2 hour apart to allow for minor delays and to make sure that none of our clients are rushed. However, if you are more than 5 minutes late, we will not be able to give you your full time. You will be charged the full amount. Please make sure you give yourself enough time to get to our office. If this is your first visit, please make sure that you have driving directions and a cell phone with you and allow yourself a few extra minutes to fill out an intake form.

If for any reason we are late starting your appointment, you will receive your full time. We will contact you to let you know if we are running late.

As far as cancellations go, we ask you to give us at least a 24 hour notice to avoid being charged the full amount for the missed appointment. Usually 24 hours gives us enough time to fill the spot. You will be charged the full amount in case of a late cancellation or a no-show. We regret that your gift certificate will be void in this situation.

We understand that emergencies and accidents happen, so let us know what’s going on. If you are sick, we ask you to reschedule, but please let us know as soon as possible.

What are your gift certificate policies?

You have a year to use your gift certificate. Some people call us right away, and some prefer to wait or save their gift certificate for a special occasion or a day off. Please keep in mind that some days and times are busier and may be more difficult to get in.

If you can’t use your gift certificate within the 12 month period, please give us a call. There are no laws in Wisconsin regulating gift certificates, but we normally extend the expiration date as a courtesy to our customers.

We regret that your gift certificate cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash – all sales are final.

When you call to make an appointment, please let us know right away if you have a gift certificate and its number so we can find it in our computer system. We want to make sure that you will receive the full service that was purchased for you.

Age of Clients

All clients under 18 must be physically accompanied by parent or legal guardian. We regret that we will not be able to provide a couples’ massage to clients under 18 years old, even with their parents’ consent. We reserve the right to check identification of each person appearing under 18 years of age.

Some people receive a massage just to relax and feel good, while others get a massage for medical purposes. Massage not only stretches and loosens muscles, but also promotes other positive changes in the body; it increases circulation, improves joint flexibility, decreases anxiety and stress, and reduces pain in the muscles and joints – and simply feels GREAT!
